OSB

 

 

Materials :  Oak wood, osb sheet and wood glue.

 

Dimensions :  Hight  75cm.  Seat 42cm.  Width  36cm.

 

 

The idea behind this chair was to build a very simple chair where the surface is the main focus, so I built up the skeleton that has the typical image of the shape of an well-known chair.

 

After this I cut out small pieces of osb material in different dimensions and thickness and glued them on to the chair until the whole chair was covered up with them.

 

The chair looks very simple from a distance but in closeup you can really see the difference in the surface and in the varying levels.
