Wrecking ball Swing
'Wrecking ball Swing is a juxtaposition between two opposite elements which together mimic the thin line between games and danger. The piece is meant to appeal to children which usually have a playful but often destructive nature. The work illustrates the moment in a child’s life that starts as a playful act but can quickly develop into a dangerous action.
The wrecking balls hangs in a position that restricts their movement to either hit each other or the frame of the swing, and would by intensive use destroy itself. The fence around the piece indicates that the swing is not safe to use and constitutes in essence a self destructive creation.'
